Beading A Navajo-Style Storm Pattern Weaving

I have started beading a Navajo-Style Storm Pattern beadweaving. A flat peyote-stitch weaving of this size (61 columns by 84 rows) normally takes me about 50 hours to complete. Here is a piece of the pattern:

Nine Diamonds Bracelet

I am beading "Nine Diamonds Bracelet". A modified Native American design with diamonds and "mesas" using non-traditional, modern colors. The bracelet's size is 15 columns x 96 rows.

Started "Teal and Grey-Lined Opal Bracelet"

I have started a new design called, "Teal and Grey-Lined Opal Bracelet." It is 15 columns x 95 rows and uses sparkling teal, grey-lined opal, black and palladium-plated Delica beads.

Creating A New Version of Black-on-Red Zia Peyote Bracelet

I sold my Black-on-Red Zia Peyote Bracelet at last Friday's Triphammer Marketplace Marketdays, so I am creating a new version of the bracelet. It is one of my best-selling designs. This version has a slightly different zia design and uses a silver-lined burnt orange-red color as the background.

New Bracelet Design

I am working on a new peyote bracelet design, but haven't come up with a name for the design. The colors are still in flux, too.

I am open to suggestions for a name for the pattern design.

Finished Peyote "Eye Dazzler" Bead Weaving

I finished my peyote bead weaving, but renamed it to "Eye Dazzler" and reduced the number of rows from 73 to 67. The next step is to mount it and frame it.

Next Project: Crystal Peyote Bead Weaving

My next project is a Navajo-style "Crystal" peyote bead weaving. The weaving size will be 61 columns X 73 rows - a total of 4,453 beads! These weavings usually take me about 30 hours of beading, so I will be busy for a few days.

Finished Dark Cranberry and Magenta Bordered Diamonds Bracelet

I finished the "Dark Cranberry and Magenta Bordered Diamonds Bracelet." The bracelet's dimensions are 7" x 11/16" (17.9 cm x 1.7 cm) with a sterling silver slide-tube clasp. The bead colors are dark cranberry and black borders with magenta diamonds. Palladium-plated beads were used for the bracelet ends and the highlights.

I started a new version of my "Bordered Diamonds" bracelet design using dark cranberry and magenta beads. The beading dimensions are 13 columns x 97 rows.

Finished Aqua, Fuchsia and Black Bracelet

I finished my "unnamed" bracelet, and have given it the temporary name, "Aqua, Fuchsia and Black Bracelet." The bracelet's dimensions are 7" x  9/16" (17.8 cm x 1.5 cm) with a sterling-silver box clasp.

New Bracelet Without A Name Started

I started a new flat-peyote bracelet today. I haven't given it a name yet, but something will come to me as I work on it. The bracelet's bead dimensions are 11 columns x 96 rows. It uses capri blue, fuchsia, black, squash yellow and palladium-plated beads.

I finished the Six-String Fretboard Bracelet. It's final dimensions are 7-1/2" x 13/16" (19 cm x 2 cm) with a sterling silver slide-tube clasp.

I started a new version of my Six-String Fretboard Bracelet. This bracelet has a dark topaz fretboard with hematite-plated "strings", palladium-plated "frets", alabaster white "position markers," and a capri blue "pick." Its bead dimensions are 15 columns x 103 rows.

I finished the "Flowers & Vines" peyote bracelet. The bracelet's dimensions are 6-13/16" x 11/16" (17.4 cm x 1.6 cm), and it has a sterling silver slide-tube clasp.

Started Vines & Flowers Bracelet

I started my "Vines & Flowers" bracelet. Its bead dimensions will be 13 columns x 95 rows. I am using fuschia-lined opal for the edges, and alabaster white for the background. The vines will be a semi-transparent green with red, pink and golden-yellow flowers.

I completed the Victorian Circles Peyote Bracelet. The bracelet's dimensions are 7" x 11/16" (17.7 cm x 1.7 cm) with a sterling slide-tube clasp.

Started Victorian Circles Peyote Bracelet

I have started a new bracelet called "Victorian Circles." Its bead colors remind me of Victorian clothing and accessories, and the bracelet has 12 light blue circles running through its center. The beading dimensions will be 13 columns by 96 rows.

Finished Modern Lines Flat-Peyote Bracelet

I finished the Modern Lines Flat-Peyote Bracelet. The bracelet's dimensions are 6-13/16" x 7/8" (17.2 cm x 2.2 cm) with a sterling-silver slide-tube clasp. The bracelet's background is opaque alabaster with modern lines in white-lined teal and white-lined topaz. I used palladium-plated beads for the bracelet's ends and highlights.

Modern Lines Peyote Bracelet Started

I have started a new flat-peyote bracelet called, "Modern Lines." It will be 17 columns x 94 rows when finished. The colors will be alabaster white, turquoise and yellow topaz with palladium highlights. Hope to finish it over the weekend.
